Andi Medlin Evans

Graduated BS Texas Women’s University, 1995

Began career at Robert Half in 1997.  Was promoted to Division Director and then to Branch Manager by 2001.

Left Robert Half in 2001 and joined Scarbrough, Medlin and Associates as a commercial property and casualty lines general producer. 

Left Scarbrough, Medlin and Associates in 2008 to purchase Evans Ace Hardware in Hamilton, Mt.  Evans Ace was doing $3.5 million when we purchased it from family.  The current revenue is over $13 million.   My husband is my business partner, and we are listing our store for sale.  First within the Ace community and then with a broker.

In 2014 I  opened Foxwood Boutique in Hamilton, Mt.  The women’s clothing boutique was liquidated by me, in 2019.

In 2016 Heirloom Remedies was started by myself, David Evans (husband) and third partner, who was our master grower.  This business was sold to our third partner in November of 2021.  We were licensed for medical cannabis only.  We had a gift store within the dispensary.  I was active in cannabis legislation and the statewide political community.  My insurance agent was the current Speaker of The House (R).  He carried many of the cannabis bills for the statewide cannabis growers.  I was able to see and learn so many things during two consecutive legislative sessions.  His son had been diagnosed with ALS and was one of my patients at the dispensary. 

I am a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and am an active alumni in our Bozeman undergraduate chapter.

I have won awards from our local Chamber of Commerce.

Evans Ace Hardware was chosen as “The Coolest Ace Hardware Store” in 2024.

Only two stores are chosen by Ace Corporate to receive this award on a yearly basis.

I have a solid understanding of the retail business, commercial insurance and how to run a business from most aspects.  I understand the financial side of business extremely well (as far as how to make a business profitable).

Most of my career has been spent touching two of both sides of my families’ businesses, Scarborough, Medlin and Associates (Father business) and Evans Ace Hardware (bought from my father in law).

I also sit on the board of my families limited partnership investment company (Mothers side of family).  My relocation to Dallas will be at the end of this month.  I will be residing in Plano.
